Catharsis or katharsis is the emotional release that occurs after a moment of very high tension. Its purpose is to bring about a positive change in an individual's life.
Logo construction


The grid is used to define the spaces between elements and adjust their size.
To facilitate the adaptation of the logo to potential graphic needs, two completely horizontal versions have been arranged with two alternatives to be used depending on the graphic requirements.

The distance between 'Catarsis' and 'Festival internacional de cine clásico de Madrid' is taken as a reference.
In the alternative version, the only change is that the icon reduces its size to occupy the same height as the text.
Since the text 'Festival internacional de cine clásico de Madrid' can be removed, and to prevent the logo from being unaligned in that case, another version has been proposed.
Limit area
This is the minimum defined area that must be respected and which cannot be occupied by another element.
The reference is the height of the 'C' in 'Catarsis'.
